Rand Water is excited to announce the Supply Chain Practitioner Learnership Programme, which aims to empower previously disadvantaged individuals, including people with disabilities. This opportunity is designed for ten participants, with five positions specifically reserved for those with disabilities. Over an intensive 18-month period, learners will gain critical knowledge, practical skills, and invaluable workplace experience crucial for a career in supply chain management.
Eligibility Criteria and Requirements
To apply for this learnership, candidates must not be currently employed or enrolled in any other qualification or learnership program.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must not be employed or enrolled in any qualification or learnership programme.
- Must not hold a post-matric qualification (disclosure required).
- Must have Matric (Grade 12) with Mathematics Literacy and English (minimum Level 4).
- Must submit a SAQA/NLRD verification report (available from the SAQA website).
- Must be a South African citizen with a valid SA ID.
- Must be 18–35 years old (aligned with NSDSIII).
During the learnership, participants will:
- Attend and actively participate in all training classes
- Complete assignments, projects, and assessments
- Maintain a practical logbook
- Demonstrate consistent learning and performance improvement
