Minimum Requirements

To qualify for the Weather Observations Learnership 2026, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Have a Grade 12 (Matric) certificate with:
    • At least 50% (D symbol) in Mathematics (not Mathematical Literacy)
    • 50% or higher in Physical Science
    • 50% or higher in English
  • Be computer literate
  • Be willing to undergo 12 months of full-time training in Pretoria
  • Be committed to obtaining a valid driver’s license within the training period
