As a Temporary Reliever – Engineering Stores, you will play an essential role in maintaining store efficiency, safety, and compliance. You’ll be responsible for supporting materials handling, ensuring accurate inventory management, and assisting with store logistics according to SAP procedures. This position is ideal for individuals who are reliable, safety-conscious, and ready to contribute to the success of a fast-paced engineering environment.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 with Mathematics and Physical Science.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Previous experience in Stores or warehousing will be an advantage.
- Must reside 50km from Sappi Ngodwana

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a safe and compliant work environment by following daily risk management and SHEQ standards.
- Promptly report all accidents, incidents, or fires to the Supervisor or Safety Representative.
- Ensure good housekeeping and conduct Job Safety Analyses (JSA) and Behavior-Based Safety (BBS) observations.
- Manage waste effectively by preventing overflow, separating waste, and ensuring proper disposal.
- Coordinate with the plant team on material receiving, deliveries, and communication.
- Perform daily stores operations, including binning materials, issuing stock, transporting, and recording as per SAP procedures.
- Maintain valid operational licenses for store vehicles such as forklifts or cranes.
- Complete administrative records and handover documentation accurately.
- Support the development of team members through skills training and qualification programs.
