Job Description
As a Picker Packer at Bidvest International Logistics, your responsibilities will include:
- Operational Activities: Accurately picking and binning orders using a scanner, ensuring that cargo is correctly racked and prepared for dispatch.
- Inventory Management: Conducting physical stock counts and re-palletizing cargo as required.
- Loading and Off-loading: Assisting with the loading and off-loading of road vehicles and containers, ensuring that all cargo is properly tallied and accounted for.
- Housekeeping: Maintaining cleanliness and organization within the warehouse, adhering to SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality) standards.
- Efficiency: Implementing and maintaining 5S activities (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) in your area of responsibility to ensure a productive work environment.
