Job Description:
The BKB Learnership is a unique opportunity for individuals with disabilities or impairments to gain valuable skills and knowledge in the fibre industry. Participants will be enrolled in a 12-month New Venture Creation NQF 2 program, which includes both theoretical classes and practical fibre training. This learnership is designed to provide a solid foundation for a career in agriculture, with a specific focus on fibre and related industries.
Participants will learn:
- Fundamentals of new venture creation and entrepreneurship.
- Practical skills in fibre processing and handling.
- Effective communication and time management.
- The importance of safety and compliance in the agricultural sector.
Minimum Application Requirements:
- Must be a South African citizen.
- Unemployed and aged between 18 and 29 years.
- Minimum education level: Grade 10.
- Good communication and time management skills.
- Must not have completed the SAQA 49648 qualification previously or be currently enrolled in another learnership or study program.
- Willingness to engage in hands-on work, including the physical ability to stand for long periods.
- A medical report certifying the disability and/or impairment.

- Visual Impairments: Blind in one eye.
