Internship Details

  • Location: Traduna House, 118 Jorissen Street, Braamfontein
  • Remuneration:
  • For graduates (qualification completed with minimum 360 credits): R9,531.54 per month (Basic Salary, no benefits)
  • For enrolled students: R3,500.00 per month (Basic Salary, no benefits)
  • Duration: Not exceeding 18 months

Primary Function:
Interns will support the Senior Specialist: Awareness and Community-Based Planning in implementing strategies, policies, systems, standards, and management plans to promote environmental awareness and development within Johannesburg.

  • Implement the Environmental Education and Awareness (EEA) Strategy through stakeholder committees
  • Coordinate corporate environmental education and capacity-building functions
  • Facilitate community outreach and stakeholder engagement for environmental education
  • Contribute to business planning and reporting activities of the sub-unit
  • Adhere to the City’s Performance Management Strategies

Leading Competencies:

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
