Job Description:

The Packaging Learnership Phase 2 at Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa is designed to provide learners with an NQF 3 Personal Leadership Development SAQA registered qualification (ID: 83946 National Certificate: Management). This qualification aims to fully develop learners within the food and beverage packaging environment, enhancing their mobility and career opportunities within the beverage manufacturing and fast-moving consumer goods sectors.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Participate in a structured learning program combining theoretical training and on-the-job learning.
  • Gain hands-on experience in bottling processes and procedures.
  • Adhere to safety and housekeeping standards.
  • Perform quality tests and ensure specifications are met.
  • Practice effective beverage handling techniques.

Competencies:

  • Self-motivated with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to interact and work effectively in teams.

Skills, Experience & Education:

  • Must have completed National Certificate: Food and Beverage Packaging Operations NQF3.
  • Must be a South African citizen.
  • Grade 12 with Mathematics and Physical Science (not Maths Literacy).
  • Must be an Employment Equity candidate.
  • Must not have previously completed the same qualification/learnership at another company or organization.
  • Must have been unemployed at the time of appointment.
  • N5/N6 qualifications are advantageous.
  • Age requirement: 18-35 years.
