Key Responsibilities
- Monitor Compliance: Ensure adherence to the National Credit Act and registration conditions for credit providers.
- Onsite Assessments: Plan and conduct onsite visits, address non-compliance, and recommend corrective measures.
- Reporting: Draft detailed compliance monitoring reports and analyze statutory submissions.
- Enforcement: Initiate enforcement steps for non-compliance in line with the NCA.
- Stakeholder Education: Conduct workshops for credit providers and alternative dispute resolution agents.
- Data Requests: Prepare draft information/data requests as directed by management.

Minimum Requirements
- Education:
- Bachelor of Commerce (BCom), BCom Law, or LLB.
- Advanced qualifications or certifications in Compliance (advantageous).
- Experience:
- At least 2 years in financial, regulatory, or compliance roles.
- Knowledge:
- National Credit Act and registration laws.
- Compliance regulatory framework.
- Broad understanding of the South African credit market.
- Skills:
- Strong computer literacy.
- Report writing and presentation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work under pressure.
