Responsibilities

  • Obtain a Cummins Diesel Fitter qualification.
  • Resolve technical engine problems efficiently and professionally.
  • Follow mechanical principles to diagnose and repair products.
  • Disassemble, clean, inspect, troubleshoot, and reassemble engines.
  • Maintain a safe workplace by adhering to safety protocols.

Minimum Requirements

  • Education (any one of the following):
    • Grade 12 (National Senior Certificate) with N2 Certificate in:
      • Engineering Drawing
      • Engineering Science
      • Mathematics
      • Diesel or Motor Trade Theory
    • Grade 12 (NSC) with NCV Level 4 Qualification
      • NCV Level 4 Qualification with:
        • Engineering Process
        • Professional Engineering Practical
        • Applied Engineering Technology
        • Automotive Repair & Maintenance
        • Mathematics
  • Skills and Attributes:
    • Strong mechanical knowledge.
    • Proficiency in product repair and maintenance.
    • Valid Driver’s License.
