  • Salary: R216 417 – R254 928 per annum

Requirements

  • Qualifications: NQF Level 4/Grade 12 or equivalent.
  • Languages: Proficiency in English and two or more indigenous languages as specified per location.
  • Additional Skills:
    • Good communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
    • Time management and problem-solving.
    • Computer literacy.
  • Experience: Three months of practical experience (advantageous).
  • Additional: A valid driver’s license (advantageous).

Duties

  • Interpret during criminal, civil, labor court, and quasi-judicial proceedings.
  • Provide interpretation during consultations.
  • Translate legal documents and exhibits.
  • Record cases in criminal record books.
  • Maintain and draw case records for magistrates and prosecutors.
  • Compile statistics and keep necessary records.
