Job Description:
The Employment Equity Administrator at Dis-Chem Pharmacies will provide vital support to the Employment Equity Manager. This includes preparing Employment Equity files, assisting with Department of Labour inspections, updating attendance registers, maintaining the Employment Equity representative tracker, and consolidating documents for payroll. The role involves creating and maintaining monthly employment equity reports, ensuring files are audit-ready, and compiling meeting minutes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare Employment Equity files, including the EE Plan and EE Reporting to the Department of Labour.
- Assist with Department of Labour inspections and document consolidation.
- Update attendance registers quarterly on a regional and national level.
- Maintain and update the Employment Equity representative tracker.
- Manage WhatsApp groups for different operating companies and regions.
- Consolidate and update the tracker of EEA1 forms for payroll.
- Assist in drafting the Employment Equity agenda.
- Arrange logistics for EE roadshows, including flights, accommodation, and venues.
- Create, maintain, and prepare monthly employment equity reports (using pivot tables and graphs).
- Ensure continuous file updates and readiness for audits.
- Correctly file and organize documents.
- Compile and record meeting minutes accurately.
- Assist with editing PowerPoint presentations.
- Support the EE Manager with data for annual reporting to the Department of Labour.
- Provide overall administrative support related to Employment Equity.
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 / Matric
- 2 - 3 years of relevant experience in a similar environment
- Advanced Excel knowledge (Pivot Tables & Macros)

- Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management or Business Administration
