Job Description:
Gold One is offering apprenticeship positions for the financial year 2025 in the following fields:
- Instrumentation (2 positions)
- Plumbing (2 positions)
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the maintenance and repair of instrumentation or plumbing systems.
- Work under the guidance of experienced professionals to gain practical skills.
- Adhere to safety standards and protocols while working on-site.
- Participate in rotation shifts and be flexible with work hours.
- Perform tasks assigned by supervisors to support the operation.
Requirements:
- Completed N2 Instrumentation or Civil Engineering (Certified copy of certificate).
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Flexibility to work rotation shifts.
- Ability to work underground.
- South African citizenship.
- Clear criminal record (candidates will undergo criminal screening).
- Medically fit for work.
- Must be over 18 years old.
- Proof of residence (preference given to residents within Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality, specifically Wards 71, 72, 73, 75, and 97).
