The Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSiRA) invites unemployed South African graduates to apply for its 2025 Youth Empowerment Service (YES) Internship Programme. This initiative offers participants valuable work experience to enhance their skills and employability while addressing youth unemployment.

Internships Details

• Locations: Centurion, Pretoria, Johannesburg, Western Cape, Polokwane, Bloemfontein
• Programme Duration: 12 months
• Monthly Stipend:
  • NQF 6: R5,000
  • NQF 7: R6,000

Gauteng Region

Supply Chain Management

• Qualification: National Diploma/Degree in Supply Management, Logistics, or equivalent

Finance: Debt Collection

• Qualification: National Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Cost Management Accounting, or equivalent

Finance

• Qualification: National Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Cost Management Accounting, or equivalent

Communications

• Qualification: Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies or equivalent

Business Information Technology

• Qualification: National Diploma/Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent

Document Management

• Qualification: BCom in Information Management, BINF Information Science, BA Information Science, Archival Science, or Records Management

Human Resource Management

• Qualification: National Diploma/Degree in Human Resource Management or Development

Complaints Management

• Qualification: National Diploma/Degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Office Management, or Office Administration

Centurion, Pretoria, Johannesburg, Western Cape, Polokwane, Bloemfontein Regions

9. Training

• Qualification: National Diploma/Degree in Business Management, Education, Training, Administration, or equivalent

9. Registration
   • Qualification: National Diploma/Degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Public Management, Public Administration, Office Management and Technology, or equivalent

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team

Eligibility Criteria

• Citizenship: South African citizens aged 18–35 years
• Education: Must have studied at an accredited South African institution in a relevant field
• Experience: Cannot have previously participated in the YES Programme or any other internship programme
• Commitment: Willingness to sign an agreement with PSiRA and the YES Programme
