Job Description:
The Rainbow Internship Programme offers graduates the opportunity to gain on-the-job experience while fulfilling the requirements for their qualifications. Over 12 months, interns will work closely with industry experts, gaining exposure to various aspects of the business. The programme serves as a feeder into Rainbow’s Management Trainee Programme and other internal technical roles. Interns will engage in meaningful projects that have a direct impact on the business, participate in national exposure across different functions, and lead or be part of specialized teams. Each intern will be assigned a mentor to provide guidance and support throughout the programme, ensuring a well-rounded and enriching experience.
Minimum Requirements:
- Relevant Diploma, BTech, or Degree in the fields of:
- Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial)
- Food Technology
- Food Safety & Quality Assurance
- Human Resources
- Animal Science
- Veterinary Science
- Agricultural Science
- Must be a South African citizen or permanent resident.
- Strong academic results, with at least 60% average in major subjects during the 2nd year of study.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and Word.
- Willingness to commit to a 12-month contract with the company.
