Description
Rand Water is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of District Aide at various locations across South Africa, including Amanzimtoti, Benoni, Krugersdorp, Libanon, Rustenburg, and Waterval. This role offers a permanent position with a focus on general pipeline, valve, and meter repair and maintenance.
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 qualification
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar environment
- Ability to conduct maintenance on pipelines
- Strong communication skills

Primary Duties:
- Maintenance of pipelines, valves, and meters
- Regular pipeline patrols by bicycle
- Participation in standby duties
- Grounds upkeep and cleaning of buildings and offices
Knowledge and Skills:
- Knowledge of general maintenance practices
- Understanding of safety and working procedures
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to ride a bicycle
Attitude:
