Job Description:

As a Receptionist at Aramex, you will be the first point of contact for all visitors and callers, representing the company in a professional manner. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Answering all incoming calls within three rings.
  • Reporting telephone system faults to relevant suppliers.
  • Printing daily reports from the telephone management system.
  • Sorting company mail and directing it to the appropriate departments.
  • Compiling the company mailbag and ensuring timely distribution.
  • Welcoming and announcing visitors to the appropriate personnel.
  • Distributing messages within performance standard time.
  • Filing reception documents systematically.
  • Updating extension lists and distributing them to all staff.
  • Allocating and programming extension numbers for staff.
  • Liaising with service providers for quotes and maintenance.
  • Conducting monthly grocery shopping and weekly stock takes.
  • Coordinating with the maintenance team to ensure all job functions are executed efficiently and building maintenance is up to standard.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent.
  • Strong communication skills with an excellent command of English.
  • Customer-centric personality.
  • Proficient in computer use.
