Purpose of the Job:

The purpose of this position is to provide administrative and onsite support to the Mining Operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining efficient office systems, handling communication, supporting environmental awareness activities, and ensuring compliance with Sasol’s operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle inquiries, schedule appointments, and prepare presentations.
  • Attend SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) meetings and conduct presentations to promote environmental awareness.
  • Book rooms and conference facilities for internal and external meetings.
  • Maintain event calendars and coordinate conference functions.
  • Order and manage stationery and equipment.
  • Prepare and type documents, letters, and reports.
  • Support the implementation of Environmental Management Systems (ISO14001).
  • Organize and store paperwork and digital records efficiently.
  • Type and distribute meeting notes, correspondence, and reports.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist with travel and accommodation bookings.
  • Support environmental audits, inspections, and compliance tracking.
  • Compile and submit required reports to relevant authorities.
