Job Description
As an Auto Electrician at Sasol, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems on vehicles and equipment used within the Regional Ops and Asset Services. Key responsibilities include:
- Adhering to safety and work standards at all times.
- Performing fault-finding and troubleshooting on auto electrical systems.
- Maintaining personal tools and ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Participating in personal development opportunities within the trade.
- Upholding good housekeeping practices and maintaining a safe working environment.
- Attending toolbox talks and actively contributing to discussions.
- Executing assigned tasks efficiently and effectively, including standby duties and overtime as required.
- Signing off on job cards upon completion of tasks.
- Operating auto electrical equipment proficiently.
- Demonstrating computer literacy and the ability to use relevant software.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Education:
- Matric / Grade 12 / N3 / Equivalent with Mathematics, Science, and English.
- Occupational Trade Qualification/Certificate.
- Auto Electrical Trade Test.
- Experience:
- A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in auto electrical maintenance and repair.
