Requirements:
- Minimum Educational Qualification: Qualification that allows registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Staff Nurse.
- Registration with a Professional Council: Current registration with the SANC as a Staff Nurse.
- Experience:
- Grade 1: No experience required.
- Grade 2: Minimum of 10 years of appropriate/recognisable experience in nursing after registration as a Staff Nurse with the SANC.
- Grade 3: Minimum of 20 years of appropriate/recognisable experience in nursing after registration as a Staff Nurse with the SANC.
- Inherent Requirements of the Job: Willingness to work shifts, including day and night duty, and overtime.
- Competencies (Knowledge/Skills): Self-discipline and motivation.
Duties:
- Provide basic nursing care to patients.
- Effectively utilize resources.
- Maintain professional growth, ethical standards, and self-development.
- Take proactive measures to improve the quality of nursing care.
- Participate actively in infection prevention and control practices.
Required Documents:
- Proof of qualification allowing registration with SANC as a Staff Nurse.
- Proof of current registration with SANC.
- For Grade 2 and Grade 3 positions, documentation of relevant nursing experience post-registration.
