Apprenticeship Opportunities and Requirements
1. Plumber
- Qualifications:
- Grade 11/12 with Mathematics and Physical Science (Advantage: Engineering Graphics Design and Civil Technology).
- OR N2 Certificate with Plumbing Theory, Building Science, Mathematics, and Building Drawing (50% or higher in all subjects).
2. Welder
- Qualifications:
- NTC2 with 4 relevant trade subjects.
- OR Technical National Certificate Vocational Level 4 with 7 subjects passed.
- OR Technical Matric Certificate with Pure Mathematics, Physical Science, and relevant trade theory (50% or higher in all subjects).
3. Electro Mechanician
- Qualifications:
- NTC2 with 4 relevant trade subjects.
- OR Technical National Certificate Vocational Level 4 with 7 subjects passed.
- OR Technical Matric Certificate with Pure Mathematics, Physical Science, and relevant trade theory (average 50% or higher).
4. Fitter & Mechanical Fitter
- Qualifications:
- NTC2 with 4 relevant trade subjects.
- OR Technical National Certificate Vocational Level 4 with 7 subjects passed.
- OR Technical Matric Certificate with Pure Mathematics, Physical Science, and relevant trade theory (50% or higher in all subjects).
5. Electrician
- Qualifications:
- NTC2 (National Vocational Certificate) with 4 relevant trade subjects.
- OR Technical National Certificate Vocational Level 4 with 7 subjects passed.
- OR Technical Matric Certificate with Pure Mathematics, Physical Science, and relevant trade theory (50% or higher in all subjects).
