Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 with Maths and Science
- N3 – N6 (with trade subjects)
- EE Preference (Females are encouraged to apply)
- Must be between 18–35 years of age
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Undertakes all non-specialized maintenance within the unit of responsibility
- Coaches and develops engineering skills of other staff
- Makes recommendations for continuous improvement
- Participates in WCM activities within Engineering and SHE policies and standards
- Diagnoses and interprets problems to optimize production output
- Carries out plant repairs and preventative maintenance
- Drives breakdown reduction through analysis and continuous improvements
- Supports strategic engineering plans for breakdown reduction (RCM)
- Investigates engineering losses using problem-solving methodologies (Kaizen, Fishbone, 5 Why, etc.)
- Ensures adherence to safety rules, regulations, and 5S standards
- Coaches staff using OPL and SOPs
