Programme Overview
SAQA’s internship programme offers graduates an exceptional chance to gain relevant workplace experience in their respective fields. Eligibility Requirements
To qualify, candidates must:
- Be South African citizens.
- Hold relevant qualifications for the position applied for (see below).
- Be unemployed and have not previously participated in an internship.
Internship Positions and Qualifications:
- Database Administrator: Diploma in IT (NQF Level 6).
- Systems Developer: Diploma in IT (NQF Level 6).
- Desktop Support: Diploma in IT (NQF Level 6).
- Data Analysis: Degree in Information Management/Statistics (NQF Level 7).
- Data Loading: Degree in Information Management/Statistics (NQF Level 7).
- Verifications: Diploma/Degree in Information Management/Education/Administration (NQF Level 6 or 7).
- Evaluation of Foreign Qualifications: Diploma/Degree in Information Management (NQF Level 6 or 7).
- Client Services: Diploma/Degree in Communication/Marketing/Public Relations (NQF Level 6 or 7).
- Registration and Recognition (Evaluation): Diploma/Degree in Education/Administration (NQF Level 6 or 7).
- Registration and Recognition (Administration): Diploma/Degree in Education/Administration (NQF Level 6 or 7).
- Finance and Administration: Degree in Accounting or Finance (NQF Level 7).
- Research: Master’s degree in Education (NQF Level 9).
- People Management: Diploma in Human Resources (NQF Level 6).
- Monitoring and Evaluation: Degree in Information Management/Education/Administration (NQF Level 7).
Key Responsibilities
During the internship, candidates will:
