Job Description
The Learnership program at Momentum Health Solutions is designed to offer a blend of theoretical learning and practical on-the-job training. This immersive experience will enable learners to gain a deep understanding of the healthcare benefits advisory role and prepare them for future employment opportunities within the medical aid administration and insurance industry.
Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Completed Grade 12 (Matric) Certificate.
- Passed Mathematics with 40% or Mathematical literacy with a minimum of 60%.
- Passed English and another SA language with a minimum of 50%.
- Basic computer literacy is an added advantage.
- Unemployed and able to commit to a 12-month program.
- South African citizens aged between 18 and 30 years.
- Able to commute to the workplace independently.
- Not engaged in any tertiary studies during the Learnership.
- Not have previously completed the same Learnership.
- People with disabilities are encouraged to apply.
Duties and Responsibilities
Participants in the Learnership program will:
- Attend classroom activities and practical training sessions.
- Perform duties aligned with the Learnership as required by Momentum Health Solutions.
- Gain knowledge of company products, policies, and procedures.
- Compile a Portfolio of Evidence for submission to SETA.
- Maintain a logbook for work-based learning.
- Complete both formative and summative assessments.
- Demonstrate proficiency in using company systems and understanding operational processes.
- Uphold the values of Momentum Health Solutions as an employee.
