Job Description
The DHL Learnership Program is designed to provide unemployed South African youth with the opportunity to gain a recognized qualification and valuable work experience in the logistics industry. This one-year program will immerse participants in the world of freight forwarding, focusing on the skills and knowledge required to succeed in this dynamic field.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Import/Export Processes: Assist in the delivery of import/export activities under direct supervision, ensuring service and performance optimization.
- Documentation Management: Perform repetitive tasks related to documentation, including receiving, reconciling, and summarizing information.
- Operational Support: Help maintain operational systems and execute back-office duties such as scanning, filing, and reporting.
- Process Adherence: Follow defined processes, systems, and methods to ensure tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues within your team and communicate effectively to support smooth operations.
Requirements
- Education: Grade 12/Matric with a minimum of 65% in English. (Attach a copy of your certificate when applying)
- Age: Must be between 18 to 30 years old.
- Citizenship: Must be a South African citizen.
- Employment Status: Must be currently unemployed and not enrolled in any studies.
