Job Description:
The Western Cape Government is seeking a diligent and organized Administration Clerk to support the administrative functions at D’Almeida Clinic in the Mossel Bay Sub-district. The position focuses on data capturing, patient registration, and ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic’s reception and administrative tasks.
Requirements:
- Minimum Educational Qualification: Senior Certificate (Grade 12 or equivalent).
- Experience: Appropriate administrative and data capturing experience.
- Inherent Requirement of the Job: Valid (Code B/EB) driver's licence.
- Preferred Experience: Experience in data management and systems management such as Sinjani, Tier.net, and PHCIS systems.
- Competencies (Knowledge/Skills): Good interpersonal and communication skills, computer literacy (Windows, Excel), and a course in Basic Routine Health Information System for Data Capturers would be advantageous.
Duties:
- Capture all data according to system programs (Tier.net, Sinjani, PHCIS, Healthnet, etc.).
- Compile data and reports for allocated service points.
- Perform various administrative functions and manage all components of reception.
- Register patients on the Patient Administration System (PHCIS) and manage Healthnet bookings.
- Maintain folder hygiene in reception, including filing, retrieving, archiving, and disposing of folders.
Required Documents:
- Senior Certificate (Grade 12 or equivalent).
- Proof of administrative and data capturing experience.
- Valid (Code B/EB) driver's licence.
- Certificates for relevant courses (if applicable).
