Requirements
- Educational Qualifications: National Senior Certificate (NQF Level 4 as recognized by SAQA). An appropriate bachelor’s degree or diploma (NQF Level 6/7) and a valid South African driver’s license will be advantageous.
Duties
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing clerical support in the requisition process of goods and services.
- Recording received requests for goods from end users.
- Compiling procurement plans and compliance reports.
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders regarding procurement.
- Capturing information and generating orders on LOGIS.
- Following up on outstanding orders and compiling generic reports on order transactions.
- Understanding the BAS System and maintaining the supplier database.
- Supporting the process of receiving and distributing stock, including stock control.
- Verifying received goods, identifying damaged or incorrect items, and coordinating their return.
- Capturing goods on relevant registers and ensuring their safekeeping.
- Administering paperwork for the distribution of goods and capturing invoices from suppliers.
- Providing clerical support for transport and travel services, including booking arrangements and maintaining relevant forms and registers.
- Coordinating the submission of subsistence and travel claims for approval.
- Updating all compliant invoices and rendering general clerical support services.
