Requirements
To qualify for this opportunity, you must meet the following criteria:
- Citizenship:
- Be a South African citizen.
- Age:
- Between 16 and 35 years old.
- Education:
- Have completed Matric/Grade 12, National Senior Certificate, or National Certificate (Vocational).
- Skills:
- Specific skills may be required, such as computer literacy.
- Agreements:
- Learnership Agreement: Details the responsibilities of the learner, employer, and training provider.
- Employment Contract: Applicable for the duration of the learnership.
Duties and Responsibilities
Participants in the ECD Learnership will be involved in:
- Planning and Preparing: Organizing and planning for ECD services.
- Facilitating and Monitoring: Supporting and mentoring the development of children.
- Providing Care: Offering care and ensuring a safe environment for children.
- Assessing Learning Outcomes: Conducting and evaluating assessments to measure learning progress.
- Promoting Safety: Ensuring the health and safety of children in care.
- Collaboration: Working with colleagues, families, and community systems to enhance development.
- Managing Learning Programs: Developing and maintaining organized and effective learning programs.
