Minimum Requirements:
- Must be a South African citizen
- Aged between 18 to 34
- Grade 12 with Maths Core, Physics, and Accounting
- No work experience
Skills and Competencies:
Eskom's Youth Employment Service is part of a public-private initiative led by the Presidency to tackle youth unemployment. This program offers young South Africans the chance to gain valuable work experience through a 12-month contract in various departments such as Human Resources, Finance, Maintenance & Operations, Business Enablement, Asset Creation, and Customer Services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Must not have been employed permanently with a single employer continuously for more than one year
- Must not be studying full-time in the year of employment
- Must not have participated in the YES initiative before
Successful applicants will undergo a recruitment process and, if selected, will be placed in Eskom operations across the Gauteng Cluster.
