Job Description
The Accountant at eThekwini Municipality will support the Accounting, Financial, and Computer-related aspects of the Credit Control Department. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and collating departmental budgets and financial statements.
- Monitoring and adjusting expenditure accounts.
- Controlling and maintaining the departmental asset register.
- Addressing audit queries.
- Providing for bad and doubtful debts.
- Generating statistical reports for various departments.
