Job Description

FNB is looking for a dedicated and customer-focused Cashier to join our team. As a cashier, you’ll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing sales, and safeguarding company assets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with governance, legislative, and audit requirements.
  • Assist in managing food and beverage operations.
  • Handle basic food preparation tasks (e.g., chopping, portioning).
  • Provide efficient administrative support through careful planning, reporting, and information updates.
  • Safeguard cash, float, passwords, and POS systems.
  • Prepare tills, floats, and required stationery for service.
  • Verify POS functionality and ensure readiness before service.
  • Participate in stock-taking activities (daily, weekly, or monthly, as applicable).

Ideal Candidate Profile

Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric (Grade 12) qualification.
  • At least 1 year of cashier experience.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
